Hailing from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Ridge Revolt is an artist who has an open mind with a lot to say. At a young age his teachers confided with his parents about his natural gift for expressing one’s self. He was enrolled in piano lessons at the age of ten. The piano lessons would soon prove to be to structural, so he reframed by picking up the guitar. Influenced by Pop Punk legends such as Green Day and @blink-182 he would sit in reflection writing songs in his bedroom. 
 While dealing with the hard reality of his family splitting apart and his parents divorcing he would find music as a coping mechanism. While embracing the more aggressive forms of Punk Rock he would turn to the sounds of early Hardcore. As a teenager he moved to Tennessee with his father and soon found he indefinitely fit into the misfit groups of High school. With a tight nit alternative family as to say, he would soon find his sound that would emerge into RIDGE REVOLT. 
 Adapting emotive inspiration from 90s Grunge and Alt Rock bands such as @Nirvana, @Soundgarden and @Deftones to The Pixies or RATM. All the while Folk Rock was just as prominent in his musical direction. Deriving Appalachia influence in his surroundings he was naturally a folk rock songwriter with a singing voice that came as natural as his speaking voice. RIDGE REVOLT has built a DIY approach to music and expressing himself indefinitely
