Known as the ‘Southeast Songstress’, Yiigaa’s sound mixes up her own fresh twist of what she calls “Souletric Afro-pop” To create a diverse original vibe grown from her upbringing surrounded by world music, the South London rave scene as well as her love for garage, soul-electric and house. Born and raised in Brixton by her Ivorian master drummer father (Henri Gaobi) and her travel-loving mother.
