Биография
Made up of jazz-school grads and emo scene veterans alike, Old News is an emo band from Kansas. The band's pop-tinged spin on math-rock nods to the angular, frenetic nature of their influences (Delta Sleep, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Six Gallery) while staying rooted in indie-rock sensibility. The quintet has been praised by the likes of Alternative Press, Substream Magazine, and Imperfect Fifth for their genre-bending approach, tight live performances, and demure, pithy lyricism. Their debut LP, Self-Acceptance Speech released on the Austin, TX based label, We're Trying Records. Old News is Beau Harris (vocals, guitar), Max Abood (drums), Joe Webster (guitar), and Sage Judd (keys, saxophone).
