Биография
From the neon wasteland of Las Vegas, NV, CODE RED RIOT was spontaneously formed in 2017 by Corky Gainsford, after posting an early demo of "Living Low" on Facebook and getting spun on Sirius/XM Octane laster that same week. Mostly known as a drummer for BLUE MAN GROUP; and previously as producer, drummer and co-writer for OTHERWISE; Gainsford quickly signed with Sony RED Music and started work on the band's debut album, 'Mask,' co-produced by himself and Shawn McGhee (Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Hellyeah, Disturbed). Upon its release, 'Mask' was critically-acclaimed as “an adrenaline rush with vigorous riffs, thrashing beats, and distinct vocals… leaving listeners begging for more” (Overdrive Music Magazine). “Bulletproof” caught fire and peaked at #28 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Indicator Chart and #14 on the Foundations (SMR) Chart. In 2020, CODE RED RIOT began releasing new material via their indie imprint, Pop Cycle Records, starting with the singles, “Weapon” (a hard hitting anthem of resistance and don’t-fuck-with-me bravado) and "Impossible" (a walk through a maze of conflict, discord and discontent, aimed at coming out the other side stronger and unscathed). The band's hardest and heaviest music yet came from recent singles "No Accident," "Teeth Out," the punk-infused "Killers," and the Alt-Metal banger "Gone."
