Биография
US alt rock four-piece DOMMIN formed in 2006 in Los Angeles. They first captivated listeners in 2010 with their debut ‘Love Is Gone’ on Roadrunner Records. Described as “the voice of the broken-hearted,” that album defined a new era of underground goth-inspired rock, influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode, Rammstein, and Type O Negative. First single, ‘My Heart, Your Hands’ was lauded as iTunes ‘Song Of The Week’ upon release. Dommin toured supporting acts like Rob Zombie, HIM, Lacuna Coil, Volbeat, The Birthday Massacre, Black Veil Brides, and Bullet For My Valentine, as well as performed at international festivals including Soundwave (Australia), Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park (Germany), and Download (UK). The band picked up nominations for Best New Band and Best International Newcomer at the UK’s Metal Hammer Awards and Kerrang! Awards. In 2015, the band rose from the ashes of post-record company fallout and personal tragedy with a release of their second album, Rise. Fast-forward and Dommin is still carrying the torch of the tormented lover with ‘Beautiful Crutch.’ Kristofer elaborates, “The title refers to anything that helps you pull through darkness. Dommin’s latest music is a demonstration of the band’s growth as they continue to excite diehards and gain new fans. Throughout 2018 and 2019, Dommin has released 5 brand new tracks, sneak peeks into their 4th-coming effort expected in 2021.
