Suzonn (Sujan Sinha) is an independent singer-songwriter and composer based in Guwahati. In 2010, during the initial days of his engineering, concurrently, he started his musical journey. After completing his education, he went on to work in an oil rig which brought his musical journey to a complete halt. He believes it to be one amongst the darkest phases of his life. So, after quitting job he decided to pursue music as career. He started exploring different styles and genres, simultaneously, he started writing, composing and producing music Unfortunately! in 2016, he got diagnosed with chronic laryngitis. He had to adapt to a new singing style as he was advised to not stress his vocal cords. Thereafter, he started composing in indie-folk and came up with his first song in the same genre, Tu Jo Paas Following this, he released another single Rihaee which brought him to people's notice and more people started discovering him. He took a major leap with his next single Sun Lo Na (Raw) which brought him a wider audience reach. It was followed up by another single Farq hai which displayed his versatile writing style and imaginative storytelling. His minimalistic musical approach and blend of simple tunes with profound lyrics encapsulating bits and pieces of generic life experiences offered a sense of relatability to the listeners. His latest release Humse Khafa is a rather unconventional track compared to his previous releases and is being adored by the mass audience.
