First Hate, one of the most influential acts of Copenhagen in the last decade, are responsible for so much more than just the catchy party anthems and heart aching melodies most people know them for. Venturing into laptop production and underground pop music as a way to break away from the sound of their peers in Copenhagen's post punk and noise scene (Iceage, Posh Isolation), craftsmanship and technique are subordinate to them when it comes to being innovative. This uncompromising attitude towards song making has together with a reputation for sweaty and ecstatic live shows continued to inspire other acts all over the world and have turned the two men into a sought after live band throughout USA, Europe, Russia, China and Japan.
