Irish songwriter Simon Herron's songs are poignant, wistful and delicate. He has a melancholy approach to his writing that is often dark and longing. The creaky melodies and sparse fingerpicked guitar of these songs make use of the quiet spaces in between, as much as the notes and words themselves. His releases have garnered success with over 5 million Spotify streams and BBC radio play alongside shows on the Other Voices Music Trail and Liverpool International Music Festival. The debut album; The Remnants of a Thought, is to be released on 8th Nov 2019.
