Aotearoa-born Remixer & Producer Canaan Ene is no stranger when it comes to music. Raised in the world’s biggest Polynesian city in the world, Canaan quickly taught himself to play guitar and piano at the tender age of 5 and had an easy outlet to practice and perfect his skills being raised in church. After becoming a viral sensation on tiktok in 2020 with his series ‘Every Song Is A Reggae Song’ - where he takes pop songs and reimagines them in the reggae genre, Canaan began collabing with many local and international artists throughout the Pacific. Canaan’s remixes have attracted the attention of many known artists and celebrities via tiktok, such as RUSS, Us The Duo, Jay Sean and many more. This led to a successful collaboration with Multi award-winning artist Stan Walker with a reggae remix of his track ‘Come Back Home’. Canaan’s musical palette is diverse, but produces for Reggae, Pop, Afrobeat and R&B artists. In 2022 and beyond, he hopes to bring a new sound to the current music industry by blending together different genres and fusing together unconventional sounds to create an authentic listening experience.
