Arema Arega, Voronezh, cold summer of 79, is a cuban-ethiopian singer-songwriter, music producer, painter and fashion designer. She is one of the artists on the albums Gilles Peterson Presents Havana Cultura: The Search Continues, Gilles Peterson Presents Havana Cultura: Anthology and Radio Gladys Compilation by Andy Grey. She was also invited by The Bahama Soul Club to collaborate on their Albums The Cuban Tapes, The Havana Remixes, Havana ´58 , Bohemia After Dawn and the Club des Belugas Album Nine. The EP Blue Bossa - My Feeling a collaboration with the UK artist Born74, their next EP Cuban Rhythm featuring the multi instrumentalist Regis Molina and their inclusion on Colin Curtis Presents Jazz Dance Fusion Volume 3. Another collaboration is the single Guajira released with the composer & tresero Jorge Iván Martín and the EP Caliente with the cuban duet of producers PAUZA including a remix of Monkey Safari released by Get Physical Radio Label. Her solo work are Albums & Singles compilated on The Soundtracks by Arema Arega a developing project where she composes, produces, arranges and makes her own music videos. Winner of the VII Ibermúsica Prize, she has been selected for her audiovisual work by the New York Jazz Film Festival, Toronto International Women Film Festival, Near Nazareth Festival, Hollywood Art and Movie Awards, New York Independent Cinema Awards, 8 & Halfilm Awards (Rome), Florence Film Awards and Stockholm Film Television Festival...
