False Alarm is a four-piece band from County Down, Northern Ireland. The band consists of Charlie Gribbons (guitar), Reuben Curran (singer), Dharesh McCarthy (bass) and Ben Simms (drums). The band was originally formed during lockdown and released its first EP in 2021 titled Bad Habit. Their debut single Complete My Life was released in September 2022. Following this, Dimples, the band's newest single, released in June of 2023. 
 False Alarm draws from punk, rock and indie influences, mixing together mellow and punchy chords to create music that is sure to have you dancing. 
 The band is well known for playing multiple gigs in Belfast in venues such as Voodoo, McHugh's, and the QUB Students' Union, with them having their first headline gig in Voodoo in August 2022. Similarly, the band are well loved in pubs along the coast of North Down with them being a fan favourite in the Dirty Duck in Holywood. With Reuben, Charlie, Ben and Dharesh just really starting their music career, it is exciting to see where else they will go and explore, both in releasing music and performing.
