Progressing from traditional beginnings to more experimental modes as his creative output took shape, Peter Sun grew more straightforward without losing his definitive sound and songwriting style. Starting out in high school studying at a music school for opera, classical music, and jazz, he eventually cleared the sonic detritus away from his songs until they resembled a more traditional indie/alternative sound with themes and influences from 1970s soft rock.
