Биография
Following the release of her first solo single ‘Didn't Mean To’ in 2018, which was described as "shattering the ambiguities of modern romance" by The Line of Best Fit, it was clear straight away that Moli was set for a career as both an artist and a songwriter. Her first EP ‘Résumé’, released via Majestic Casual later that year, pushed Moli even further into the limelight. In early 2019, Moli met her producer Chris Zane who is known for his work with Passion Pit, Friendly Fires, and Chloe Howl. The collaboration resulted not only in the tracks ‘On the Weekend’ and ‘Something I Said’, but also laid the foundation for her sophomore project, ‘Préface’, a seven-track EP that was released in 2021. Moli was later recognised for her work on the EP by Max Martin & Co. naming her 'International Rookie' at the Denniz Pop Awards. As a writer Moli goes by her real name, Molly Irvine, and as well as writing all of her own songs, she has also written, and co-written, many critically-acclaimed pop and dance hits; Topic and A7S's ‘Breaking Me’, ‘Love to Go’ by Lost Frequencies, ‘love and hate’ by Camylio, and Lloyiso’s ‘Speak’ to name a few. In May this year, she received a BMI Pop Award for 'Breaking Me', firmly cementing Molly Irvine as one of her generation's top writers. Now, after almost two years, she's reintroducing her artist project Moli. With a brand-new sound and a newly found confidence in her own superpowers, ready to affirm herself as one of her generation's top artists.
