Биография
Bootstraps is Jordan Beckett, an American singer, songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, California. Bootstraps first gained recognition in 2011 after winning Best Music In A Film at the Nashville Film Festival, providing the soundtrack to the romantic comedy Take Me Home. During that time Beckett's songs also appeared in a number of television shows, including Parenthood, Elementary, and Private Practice. In 2014, Beckett released his eponymous debut via Capitol Records. His sophomore effort, 2016's Homage includes covers of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and Ben E. King's "Stand by Me”, the record found high profile placements in Lionsgate's Power Rangers, The 2018 Winter Olympic Games and television programs like Grey's Anatomy, Dancing With The Stars, Supergirl, and Lethal Weapon. Bootstrap's EP, To Each His Own (2017) was featured in the TV series Good Trouble and shared via Taylor Swift’s “Songs Taylor Loves” playlist. Beckett writes, records, and produces his own material with Davey Quon (Mikky Ekko, Cold War Kids) at Harmony Studios in Hollywood, California. ~ Rachel Komar
