For Zylva, creating is a form of healing. Born and raised in Bavaria, the producer, illustrator, and poet led a double life growing up. Simultaneously training as a concert pianist and producing electronic music, she eventually put her laptop aside to focus on classical music. Following her relocation to Berlin three years ago, she abandoned the confines of the classical world and has returned to the electronic music that excited her in the past. The change of scenery, and difficult breakup, gave her the space to throw herself into production and writing work. ‘DreamSs’ is just the first taste of a fruitful spell between friends studios and her bedroom. 
 Working bluer notes into a powerful resistance to despair, Zylva’s songwriting is as incisive as it is illuminating, never shying away from the dark shadows of everyday life.
