Gavendri is an Indonesian singer-songwriter who inspired a lot by R&B/Neo-Soul music, she always pours her heart out on every song she writes. Her music & lyrics speak about love and the storms that follow, so instead of sugarcoating the lyrics she prefers to let it all hang with direct and naked words. While being to-the-point is a challenge on her actual daily conversations, probably music has become a more natural place for Gavendri to channel this. Her personal hustle to stay true to herself, making peace with the things she did and all the things she didn’t do, is her greatest drive to keep on writing songs.
