After years of writing songs as a young child, Teddy Fontana always knew she would someday begin recording and releasing her own music. Fast forward to 2021, and the songstress has quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of streams, has been mentored by the likes of Yeti Beats (Doja Cat), and has firmly established herself as a rising indie-artist within the greater pop music scene in Los Angeles, and abroad. Fontana’s distinctive blend of sad and dark lyrical elements over energetic pop production provides unique juxtaposition—sending listeners deep into their feels while being driven by energetic grooves to simultaneously dance it all away. With a multifaceted musical talent, distinctive style, and lifelong musical practice, Fontana’s growth is of little surprise. Inspired by artists like Britney Spears and Producer Max Martin, she developed a deep passion for pop music at a very young age. When her mother signed her up for piano lessons, Teddy found herself wanting to focus on writing her own original songs instead of reciting sheet music. As a teenager, Fontana became influenced by a variety of contemporary musicians such as Amy Winehouse, , The White Stripes, Radiohead, and more.
