Sierra's early life was surrounded by music, growing up to the sounds of rock through the 70s to the 90s. In her later years as a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Sierra was a late bloomer to the singing/songwriting world. Arriving on the scene in the early 2010s to YouTube with hushed covers and a unique intimate voice, she captured the attention of many, later including renowned artists like Joni Mitchell and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Her heavy vocals and captivating arrangements began to leave lasting impressions, and is now taking its first steps into television and film. Influenced by the likes of Peter Gabriel, Sting, Blind Melon and the late beloved Jeff Buckley (to name a few), Sierra describes her music as a continuation down a path already paved by the musicians before her, but giving perspective from the woman's side: "Almost like a letter written back, or a missed phone call.
