Hailing from Kalajoki, Finland, the enigmatic and mysterious hip hop beatmaker / professional crate digger Jussi aka Homieunculus has been creating incredible chops since 2016. Best known for his diverse musical background that fuses smooth J Dilla and Madlib style hip hop cuts with influences ranging from Bossa Nova to Jazz, he is constantly working on mastering his craft and elevating his sound while continuing to explore new tools, sounds, and potential collaborations with other artists. His love of analog tools such as his signature SP-404, decked out with stickers and emblems from the underground community, reflect his style of warm, careful beat-making that is less background music and more the soundtrack of a seasoned music lover. Homieunculus continues to challenge himself musically and expand his sound into different genres.
