Bird Bone's melodic emo sound has been influenced by acts like Old Gray, Tiny Moving Parts and Suis La Lune, but also draws inspiration from genres like math rock and sadboy pop punk. Featuring Seva Shaposhnikov on vocals, Nikita Vinogradov on guitar and vocals, Alex Korolev on guitar, Vlad Laiming on bass and vocals, and Dmitry Morozov on drums, the band provides really emotional music full of catchy melodies, complex twinkly riffs and bright vocal parts. During the last 4 years the band played tons of shows in small bars and huge clubs, honing their craft of live performance, so now their shows are flame-throwing, when all the crowd sings along and everybody feels fully involved. Bird Bone was founded in 2015 as an acoustic screamo one-man-band, but later it evolved in to a 5-piece act with more twinkly midwest emo sound. After some demo releases, in Jan, 2018 band released the first official EP I Am Afraid. Then, in 2019, the first LP Тени came out, and it was a total blast that made Bird Bone well-known. The recent song Запутанные established Bird Bone as one of the biggest emo powerhouses of the Russian scene. While other bands are striving for a lighter sound, the new Bird Bone's song has veered into screamo territory and proved that the band can still surprise you.
