Leyes started creating music from his bedroom as a teenager from the West Coast of Canada. Between his time spent studying Engineering at the University of Victoria and pursuing his dream of playing hockey in the Olympics for Canada, he would work on his creative passion. This budding passion grew into an obsession and would later become his only focus. Since he didn't know anyone else who made music in his small island town, he taught himself how to write and produce through youtube tutorials and listening to tracks on soundcloud. Leyes, is solidifying a sound inspired by his love for Dance music and Pop. Bridging the two to create something new. After releasing multiple remixes, Leyes Self-released his first single “Not Made For This War” in the summer of 2020. With many more original tracks on the way, his next single “Everything” comes out November 20th!
