Gospel saxophonist Angella Christie got her start opening for acts including BeBe & CeCe Winans, John P. Kee and Shirley Caesar; after appearing on sessions including Yolanda Adams' 1991 album Riding Through the Storm, she issued her debut solo LP Walk with Me on Artifex.
