Norwegian vocalist and songwriter VILDE has a penchant for crafting strong pop songs. Born and raised at Tjøme (small Island south from Oslo), she learned in an early age to play the guitar, sang in various gospel choirs and wrote songs in her bedroom. After living three years in the UK, studying Music at the well-known Paul McCartney school, she moved to Oslo in 2018 to pursue her artist career. At the start of 2018, VILDE signed a booking deal with Artistpartner and played about twenty concerts around Norway that summer, with highlights such as supporting Röyksopp and Julie Bergan, doing her first TV debut at the opening of Norway Cup, and playing for a sold-out Rockefeller. The year after, she also performed at the well-known "Gullruten" award show on TV2. In 2021, VILDE released "Never Said Enough" and was awarded "Artist of the Month" on NRK P3. The following single, "Motions," also received tremendous support and became "Song of the week" at NRK P3. In 2022 VILDE was one of the artists competing in the Norwegian Eurovison selection, Melodi Grand Prix, with her song "Titans". In terms of her career, she is self-managed and runs her own label. She is now in the starting pit of what many believe will be a great career as an artist. Magazines such as 730.no, Scandipop, Popmag etc has written about VILDE and she has been called "Norway´s version of Zara Larsson". This Friday VILDE will release her first single in her native language, "Bli hos meg". Stay tuned!
