Somaya Darwesh Saye Ali (Arabic: سميه درويش سيد علي‎; born May 8, 1989), is an Egyptian singer, Somaya is the only singer who has ever released a full album at the age of sixteen in the year 2007 and before that too, and she has won many musical awards at an early age. Somaya Darwesh was known as "The Girl of the Nile". After she created her own style of performing her sad songs and her mix of music, which can be recognized from among thousands of singers. Somaya Darwesh was born on May 8, 1989 in Cairo, Egypt. Somaya sang since her childhood when she was seven years old. One of her best songs ever, Al-Ayam, which was not only successful in Egypt, but in the whole Middle East. Somaya Darwesh's earnest work and passion for music creation and new musical techniques has been the ultimate goal over the years, as she has been striving to develop her music and give her the best to her fans.
