They have already won the prize for the most beautiful band name, but this Belgian duo is one of the best the country has produced in recent years. The flawless voice of singer-songwriter Annelies Tanghe stirs the imagination, and with multi-instrumentalist and producer Sam Pieter Janssens she has found the perfect creative partner. Their debut album (2018), produced by Koen Gisen, was widely acclaimed, and 'Biggest Enemy', 'Chasing The Sun' and 'Please Don't Disappear' got attention on national radio. Reactions in the Netherlands were extremely positive, and the French press even tipped And Then Came Fall as the new act to be discovered. In recent years, And Then Came Fall has shared the stage with Joan As A Police Woman, K's Choice and Donovan Frankenreiter, among others. In the meantime they have been working on new songs together with producer David Poltrock, with 'Photograph' as the first single from The Art Of Love, a diptych of EPs that will be released in the course of 2022/2023. The theme - the connecting power of love - fits well after the pandemic in which we all had to miss each other for far too long. And Then Came Fall combines the irresistible melodies of Fleetwood Mac with the emotion of great examples such as Carole King, Feist, Suzanne Vega and Damien Rice.
