The sound of Since April is best described as heavy rock, combining their rock and metal guitar influences with clean and moving vocals. With heartfelt music and deep lyrics, Since April creates a safe space for lost souls and fills the inner emptiness in a way that only music can. These days problems are more complex than ever and everybody knows the feeling of not being understood or seen for who you really are - Since April provides a shelter where you can be yourself and don't have to describe situations that can't be put into words anyway. Since April – that is singer Umut Uysaler, second vocals and rhythm guitarist Manu Satzger, bassist Gonzo Urgel Tendero, lead guitarist Marin Kostek and drummer Robert Merkl. They’ve released their debut album „Escape“ in 2019 - shortly before covid hit - with a sold out release show and their lead single „Fear“, which was also played on the radio in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. The release of „My Redemption“ was accompanied by shows with Mister Misery, Tenside und Lonely Spring, as well as an unforgettable festival summer. This new chapter starts after the hard years of the pandemic, which left so many of us with mental health issues. This has also left scars with Since April - scars that show you've fought, survived and come out stronger on the other side.
