Assembled by producer Thomas Kukula aka DJ Red 5 and THKukula, the man behind General Base and Candy Beat, the German dance music outfit Red 5 comprised American rapper Lemar, Tunesian-born singer Nadja and Spanish dancer Vanessa. They debuted in 1996 with the release of "I Love You...Stop!," followed by "Da Beat Goes On," and their first full-lenght record called Forces released in 1997 featuring the hit single "Lift Me Up," ~ Drago Bonacich
