Singer/songwriter Rebekah Del Rio, as seen in David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive”, is well known for her signature song, the wrenchingly beautiful ballad “Llorando”, a Spanish-language version of Roy Orbison’s “Crying,” Ms. Del Rio was received with a standing ovation at the 12th Annual Rainforest Foundation Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall. She was joined in this concert by Sting, Sir Elton John, & James Taylor. Ms. Del Rio’s talents are presented in award winning films such as, “Mulholland Drive“, “Southland Tales”, “Sin City”, “Mia Sarah”, “Winters Dream”, “This Teacher” & the TV shows, Prison Break, King of the Hill. The opera group, Il Divo and Rebekah recorded a version of her signature song “Llorando” for the groups album Wicked Game, released in the fall of 2011. Subsequently that record receive Certified GOLD status in Canada and Australia. Rebekah has completed a beautiful tribute album to the late, great Cuban composer, Sergio de Karlo, recorded at the famous Ocean Way Studios in late 2014. Rebekah was featured on Twin Peaks The Return by David Lynch which premiered in 2017 on Showtime! Ms. Del Rio performed "No Stars", a song she wrote with David Lynch. Her episode featured Rebekah on screen, with legendary Artist/DJ, Moby on guitar. Rebekah’s New Vinyl Record, due to be released in 2020, will feature a Spanish language version of “Halleluiah” by Leonard Cohen, as well as newly written songs by Ms. Del Rio during her 2019 No Hay Banda Tour.
