From humble beginnings in Adelaide, Australia, Shotty began rapping during high school and gained traction on Soundcloud after his home recordings gathered tens of thousands of views in a matter of months. He made his official single debut with Plug Loves Me, closely followed by the 2020 Halloween anthem Mickey, featuring fellow Adelaide rapper King Hektic. Reppin Adelaides postcode ‘68. 2021 started off with a bang, from Welcome to the 6ix featuring F6ix to World Class Plays, Shotty continued to gain a strong underground fanbase. He kept releasing music consistently throughout the rest of the year, with the anticipated & fan-favourite Stitches dropping that Spring. The following year, Shotty proved he was a jack of all trades. Singles such as Money Chaser and 48 Bars proved his diverse arsenal of vocabulary, bars and versality. Shotty has gained notoriety across the city for his unique flows and dropping consistent bangers.
