Since emerging with his experimental singles over a decade ago, he has built up an impressively diverse discography while amassing a dedicated fanbase. Now, with the most compelling music of his career, he is poised for a breakout year. 
 Growing up immersed in the Midwest’s booming House scene, Baltaj saw a glaring need for more Eastern/Indian/Punjabi representation and took it upon himself to fill the void. He began using the Tumbi, an ancient Punjabi instrument with a mysterious and ethereal tone. Cleverly fusing Hispanic and Indian cultures together has resulted in a sound of complete revelation. Since then, he has been cultivating his distinctive style and evolving as an artist with every release. 
 Baltaj took a major step forward with the 2022 single ‘Tumbi,’ which received international airplay. He has continuously experimented with various styles, incorporating rhythms and cultures from around the world. With new releases expected in 2023 and beyond, Baltaj is on his way to leaving a lasting legacy in electronic music.
