Dutch alternative rock trio Paceshifters have been going strong for more than a decade. They have built a cult following thanks to their incredible live shows which have already seen them headline many venues, following festival slots at the likes of Woodstock (Poland), Groezrock, Zwarte Cross, Pinkpop, Exit (Serbia), Rock for People and SXSW. 
 But after ten years of non-stop touring, and releasing four full length albums, it was time for a change. Time for a brand new plan. That new plan happens to be a fresh new studio album, which was recorded in Belgium and produced by Ian Clement of Flemish alternative rockers Wallace Vanborn. 
 Before commencing work on the new album Seb (vocals/guitar), Paul (bass/vocals) and Jesper (drums/vocals) decided to aim for a fresh approach and different sound: "We made quite a few changes”, explains Seb, "especially in the way we wrote the new songs. We wanted to create more space and dynamics in the new record but on the other hand, the songs still had to be energetic and powerful.” The first couple of singles lay out a blueprint for the new direction the band have taken; urgent, contemporary and melodic, but with its roots firmly planted in the rock sounds we all know and love. The new album ‘Brand New Plan’ will be released on the 3rd of September 2021.
