Country artist Jake Hill comes from a long line of musicians, so it was no surprise when he picked up the guitar at age 12, he was a natural. Born and raised in the small South Georgia town of Tifton, Jake also developed an interest in wakeboarding, a sport in which he excelled. At age 16 he signed with O’Brien Watersports as a pro wakeboarder and moved to Orlando, Florida. There he continued to write and play music while traveling the world wakeboarding until an injury sidelined him. It was then that he immersed himself in songwriting and performing and discovered his love of country music. After many trips to Nashville to collaborate and record with a variety of artists and musicians, Jake is ready to debut his original music to the world. He plays venues across the southeast while continuing to compete on the Pro Wakeboard Tour. Back on the water, Jake still loves the sport of wakeboarding, but has found his true calling in the world of country music. * * *
