Биография
Long time members of the California rock and surf scene, Clean Spill delivers a home-brewed mixture of garage flavored punk rock and power pop. Influenced by The Strokes, The Ventures, and Twin peaks, Clean Spill dishes out a tasty blend of crisp indie surf rock, with a lyrical style that toys with life's wreckage and glory. After all, the band's namesake, Clean Spill, is old skate slang for a wipeout where you don't get hurt. Led by Pat Curren on vocals, Cameron Crabtree on guitar, Geoff Shea on bass, and Charlie Fawcett on drums, the quartet released their first EP with their popular track "Montezuma" in 2015. With multiple tours lined up and growing popularity within the industry, Clean Spill traded competition surfing for soul sessions and focused on their musical career. After releasing singles "Sid", "Friends", and "Note to Self", the band's following within Los Angeles grew and caught the attention of avant-garde rock artist Hanni El Khatib, who produced their first full-length EP Nothing’s On My Mind in 2018, eventually bringing them on his headlining US tour. Clean Spill late released their first full-length, independent, self-titled album Clean Spill in October 2019 while on tour in France. In between international tours and LA shows, Clean Spill hides out at the Santa Barbara-Ventura county line, surfing, writing fresh music, playing rowdy house shows, and cooking up plans for the next release and tour.
