Биография

Дeva is a solo project by the 22-year-old Budapest based musician, Dorina Takács. Her atmospheric smooth sounds, pulsating basslines and polyphonic mantras are seasoned with the elements of the Hungarian folk songs. 
 Although in some cultures ‘deva’ represented the colour white, this word was also used for evil throughout history. Today, Дeva’s intention is to unite light and dark, balancing out the yin with the yang. While the Д denotes the initial of her first name, Eva represents the first woman on Earth. It’s complex and hazy.
