The songs here were written for people who have trouble sleeping at night. I wanted to write the softest and bravest songs about love and insomnia - for those dealing with doubt, loneliness, and uncertainty. Musically, my new album combines indie pop, soft electronica, and classical music. Plenty of room for acoustic piano, strings, and even harp. And at the same time, subtle electronic effects create a cinematic atmosphere, illustrating a dream or a fantasy about somewhere unknown yet familiar.
