The band from Palu City was founded in early 2020 with members Vani (Vo), Matt (Gt), Radinal (Gt) and Lambang (Dr). The name Moon Beams was inspired by the song in the Japanese anime Beck, so the band later adopted the genre Japanese Pop Punk and Alternative Rock in their music. In March, the band had released their first single Midnight snack and continued with DREAMY VACATION in late 2020.
