Биография
GIVER is a modern Hardcore/Metal Band from Cologne&Dresden, Germany. Leaning into a fresh and melodious territory reminiscent of the early to mid 00’s US hardcore sound that belonged to the likes of Bridge Nine Records and Deathwish Inc. that birthed bands such as Blacklisted, Have Heart and Modern Life Is War, GIVER stand on the darker side of their genre incorporating jarring tempo changes coupled alongside anthemic gang vocals whilst keeping focus on the lyricism underneath the aggression at all times. Hardcore is political and the bands songs maintain a youthful vibrancy that truly wants to make change on a personal and much broader level.Founded in 2013, GIVER released their first EP "Choking on Pride" on No Panic! Records, toured Europe numerous times until recording four songs to be released on "Mother Midnight" (Beyond Hope Records, Lifeisafunnything). After having honed their craft on the road for three years, GIVER started writing and recording their debut LP "Where the Cycle Breaks" with Lewis Johns (Employed To Serve, Rolo Tomassi, Svalbard, etc.). After its release on Holy Roar Records, the band supported bands like Boysetsfire, Comeback Kid, Stick To Your Guns, Cancer Bats, Modern Life Is War, Ruiner, Stray From The Path etc., toured with Canvas and appeared at festivals such as Ieper Fest, Fluff, Vainstream and Tells Bells.Their sophomore album is planned to see the light of day in 2020.
