Hi, I'm Arlin Godwin & THIS IS THE STORY SO FAR - I was born. Science geek in school. Got my FCC broadcast license when I was 14. Worked at an FM radio station in my hometown of Pensacola, Florida. I love cats. And dogs. And I like to wear out turntables, CD players, and hard drives. Oh! And I'm a music freak. Fanatic. Whatever. I never studied music or took piano lessons but by the age of six, I could pretty much pick out whatever I heard on the radio by ear and play it back on my Mom's old upright piano. Fun fact: I often dream music (when I'm sleeping of course) and I pretty much compose and record every day of my life. It's like breathing. I have to do it or I'll die. Nowadays I have a home studio in Washington, DC - 5 blocks from the big white mansion. The President is almost my next-door neighbor. In 2003 I got signed by CEO Robb McDaniels to the San Francisco label INgrooves. Some other artists who have had dealings with that label are the Crystal Method and Paul Oakenfold for starters. Oh, and Tina Turner. Love her! As for playing live, I've been really lucky to perform at huge festivals like Washington, DC's Capitol Pride show in front of 225,000 people and in Baltimore opening for Crystal Waters in front of a crowd of 30,000.
