In 2020, musical frontiers have definitively come down. Sound travels from one land to the next, transcending prejudice and touching the hearts of listeners when in theory, everything is keeping them apart. Pascal Letoublon’s journey is proof of this - at 24, this young producer hailing from Eastern France has made ratings and borders tremble with a simple single - “Friendships”, a house hit composed in 2017, which today, has obtained over 75 million views on YouTube, almost 40 million streams and has proudly sat at the helm of the Shazam Global charts for almost two years thanks to TikTok, where thousands of users constantly post videos of themselves dancing to the beat of this catchy tune. In the meantime, Pascal Letoublon has signed with Universal, produced new tracks, and is ready to give his flagship single a striking revamp. The French producer has in fact invited German artist Leony to sing on the vocal version of his hit which has been renamed “Friendships (Lost My Love)” for the occasion. A 2.0 version for which Pascal Letoublon called upon topliners with international appeal such as Swedish artist Nea, who gifted us with the track “Some Say”, but also Kiddo, present on the latest release by Robin Schulz. “Friendships (Lost My Love) ft. Leony” is coming out on November 13 on Virgin Germany, home to dance music acts such as Felix Jaehn, Topic and Vize.
