Humulus are a Psych-Stoner power trio from Brescia/Bergamo (Italy). Their first self titled album is released by Go Down Records in December 2012. In 2014 a great project, sees the light: beer! Humulus produce their eponymous black stoner IPA, brewed in collaboration with ELAV Indipendent Brewery. A 3 songs EP called Electric Walrus is out in October 2015. 2016 is full of live gigs, and new songs are written and played on big and small stages. The new LP “REVERENTLY HEADING INTO NOWHERE”, is released in Spring 2017, a joint venture between the German label Oak Island Records for the vinyl version, and the Italian label Taxi Driver Records for the CDs. In the following 3 years Humulus play a lot of gigs and do extensive touring of Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, including festivals like Freak Valley, Up In Smoke, Duna Jam, Dome of Rock, Setalight, Tabernas and many more, successfully sharing the stage with the most representative bands of the stoner rock scene. In 2020 the band releases the new LP “THE DEEP”, where the sound of the band expands, becomes wider and the psychedelic sound elements are melted with the heaviness of the doom metal riffs.
