Laundry met in the University of Oregon dorms during the fall of 2017 and began playing music together in the basement laundry room. Local bands like Spiller, Novacane, and The Graduating Class helped the four of them find gigs at nearby house parties and clubs, where the band began to develop its energetic live performance and collaborative songwriting process. 
 After releasing an EP midway through their freshman year of college, Laundry began recording at Echohill Studios in Portland. The band released three albums with producer Edwin Paroissien - 2019’s Affirmation, 2020’s Fast Cars, and 2021’s Movie Star. The success of the Echohill albums provided a great deal of opportunities for Laundry, including a number of west coast tours, and shows with larger acts such as Mild High Club, Winona Forever, Ritt Momney, and The Backseat Lovers. 
 Laundry lives together in Eugene, Oregon with a cat, a dog, and two rats. They’re currently working on writing a new album.
