Биография
Mark Maxwell (aka, Dr. SaxLove) is a saxophonist, composer, and recording artist, and one of the best-selling saxophonist in America. His albums have sold over half a million copies, and his songs have streamed over 60,000,000 times, and his Dr. SaxLove YouTube videos garner many millions of views each month. Mark has performed and recorded with many remarkable musicians: Garth Webber (Miles Davis, Robben Ford, Boz Scaggs, Bonnie Raitt), Tony Lufrano (Elvin Bishop, Taj Mahal, Todd Rundgren), Steve Weingart (Chaka Khan, Eric Marienthal, Ernie Watts, Warren Hill, John Pattituci, Dave Weckl), Red Young (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Sonny & Cher, Dolly Parton, Eric Burdon), Mike Valerio (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Craig Woods (Ray Charles, Brian Seltzer) and many others. He has performed the National Anthem at a Laker game twice. Born into a family of sax players (his mother and sister played the saxophone, and his brother, Phil, is still a performing saxophonist). Mark has always been surrounded by music and musical instruments: "Growing up, we always had a pianos, guitars, and a saxophone in the house. I even had a set of drums for a when I was a teenager. But it was the saxophone that spoke to me and always felt the most right in my hands." For Mark and his music, it's all about communicating love. Mark was born in Michigan and is currently living in near Detroit.
