Born in the Philippines before growing up in Texas, Kaiyko [pronounced kai-ko] is a songwriter and singer that has been releasing her original works since early 2016. Her first EP, Reminiscing Girl was released at the end of her sophomore year of High School and since then has been writing and singing a variety of genres from alt-rock to pop to collaborations with electronic producers and rock bands. Her influences range from artists/bands from all over time and space, current favorites include Cocteau Twins, Leona Naess, Kahimi Karie, The Breeders, Mini Pop, and Chara. Besides writing songs and dancing to 80's music, she enjoys getting drinks with her best friend and reading literature books. Although she has taken a step away from releasing this year she continues to write music and hopes to release a full-length album in the future. A message from Kaiyko: No matter where you are in life, whatever stage or season you may find yourself in, take the time to stop and look around. Look at the nice things the world has to offer, I know things might not be good all the time, there's always something good to see, something good to listen to, and something good that you can create internally.
