Биография

Born and raised in Australia, Alec Shea has grown up with music his whole life. After years of learning classical piano, music theory, and electric guitar, he began composing his own music. After discovering the world of digital audio in high school and moving on to complete a Bachelor of Audio Engineering and Sound Production at the JMC Academy, he began working as a freelance composer, sound designer and voice actor. Alec has composed music for game, animation and film soundtracks, live orchestras, string quartets, rock bands, solo piano, pop singers and various other forms and styles of music. He spent the last four years Tokyo, writing soundtracks for games and animations, including Corpse Factory, Akedo: Ultimate Arcade Warriors, Decide4God, Kanji Combat, How To Date A Magical Girl, Yandere Simulator and a number of others. Plane Prepared Vinyl Past (20/04/22) is his first standalone music release, an experimental lo-fi/post-rock EP with each track reflecting a different time and place in his experience living in Tokyo. As this will also likely be his last year living in Japan for some time, the EP also serves as somewhat of a farewell to his time and experiences as a musician in Japan.
