Singing is breathing. Writing is oxygen. That's YMusyc! Formerly known as 'Y', Y-INTEL has been singing from an early age, including on church choirs and in singing competitions as part of ensembles and clubs, often as lead. After years of writing poetry (Poems from the Musing series, available under the name Yohan S.R. Lee on Amazon) and being home more than usual during COVID-19, he began exploring his longtime dream/passion - making his own music. In May 2021, he released his first album, STRANDS. He experiments with different sounds and takes on a wide range of topics he finds interesting. Music, even more so than poetry, is an avenue through which he can share his stories on struggles, realisations, and hopes. If he sings it, he's lived it, seen it, or learned from it. The singer-songwriter from Jamaica lives in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Stay tuned, give him a listen and tell a friend or two!
