Blending the essence of alternative, progressive, post hrdcore, and delicious savory bits of funk roots, Dreaming Awake, the five-piece southern Arizona rock outfit, gives life on a canvas to high intensity chaotic sceneries, and paints them strategically with colorful strokes of melody and ambiance. The band is compromised of Vaughn Bell, providing scream vocals, Jacob Olms with the clean vocals, Phil Lepistö and Frankie Presnar on guitar, and Andrew Demelo on Drums. The band strives on pushing the limits of the genre, while remaining true to their sound, in whatever direction they feel ignites the most passion. Dreaming Awake released a full length album in 2017 via Imminence Records "Friction Lives" and is continuing to evolve and develop their sound.
