BRATS is the Japanese girls band formed by sisters Rei Kuromiya and Aya Kuromiya. Their music expresses the bold, loud sound of today's Japanese youth! Rei Kuromiya (vocals) Aya Kuromiya (bass) BRATS began in August 2011 when Rei Kuromiya became a vocalist at the age of 10. Rei’s sister Aya Kuromiya plays the bass. BRATS released the song “Ainikoiyo” in 2016 as the opening theme for the anime series "To Be Hero", and the follow-up single “Nounai Shoukyo Game” was chosen for the feature film action comedy "Slavemen". In 2017, BRATS returned to the stage for their March 29 “Reborn” concert at Ikebukuro Live Inn Rosa, the band’s first live event in over 2 years. BRATS released their double-single “Ainikoiyo”/”Nounai Shoukyo Game” worldwide on June 21, 2017. Their debut album "BRATS" was released July 25, 2018. BRATS made their overseas concert debut in January 2019 at “AMBITIOUS GIRLS SERIES 1” at West Bridge Hall in Seoul, South Korea. The band performed at Wake Up Festival in Taiwan in July and returned to Korea for Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival in August. BRATS made their USA debut at Anime Los Angeles in January 2020. BRATS second album "Karma" was released on September 30, 2020.
