Биография
As a singer/songwriter, Parsons conjures up the essence of troubadour folk-rock and classic Americana influences, exploring the triumphs and anxieties of the human experience. Evoking the sun-hazed days of Laurel Canyon combined with the cinematic shine of the iPhone generation, his rich baritone voice and deft guitar style never fail to enthral audiences. ‘Whatcha Gonna Do About It’ is the smouldering new single from the singer/songwriter/guitarist. His first public offering since 2018’s critically acclaimed ‘Sunday Morning Cinema’, Parsons Reveals more layers of groove and pulse through space and simplicity, the band are captured somewhere between the noises of JJ Cale and Alabama Shakes. 'Sunday Morning Cinema' (released in 2018) saw the inclusion of his track 'Dream On Lover' land on multiple curated playlists around the world (Fresh Folk, New Music Friday, Songpickr's Best of 2018), and the first single 'Here Goes Nothin' held the #1 spot on the AMRAP/AirIt regional charts for two weeks, as well as receiving national rotation on ABC radio. He has released three other critically acclaimed solo albums - 'Firestarter' (2010), 'Dan Parsons' (2013) and 'Valleywood' (2015); all of which have taken around the world. "Sunday Morning Cinema is a glorious admixture of songwriting mastery, powerful vocal precision, and palpable reverence for West Coast country's golden age." Country Update Magazine
