Escalane is a female-fronted pop metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland that has been spreading ear worms since 2014. We are often referred to as a heavier version of Paramore which is not far from the truth. Add some synths, prog metal influences and pop hooks and you get Escalane. In 2015 we released our highly acclaimed debut album “The Days of Decay”, followed up by a one-off single “Lost Forevermore” in 2017. In addition to playing shows all around Finland, we’ve also toured in China, Eastern Europe and the Netherlands when we played at the finals of Femme Battle 2017 -band competition. In 2018 the band went on to a hiatus but is now back with some new members! Sofia Salo is our new charismatic front-woman and Arttu Juntunen provides us some thunderous low-end with his Dingwall. Rest of the line-up remains the same. Iiro Vuori still provides us his jokes and drumming while Juha Takanen, guitarist and CEO, keeps the band and the songs running. "When the City Sleeps" and "Await to Fall" are the first singles with the new line-up and there's lots more to come!
