The electro gothic & dark wave band GIRLS UNDER GLASS was founded in Hamburg in 1986. Starting as special guests for bands like Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Fields Of The Nephilim etc they quickly became stars of the national Gothic & Wave scene. After several albums in the 80s and 90s and their latest work „Zyklus“ (released in 2004) the band members focused on other projects such as The Cassandra Complex, Love & Revenge, Ermes/Harms, Seasurfer and others. After a 18 years break Girls Under Glass are back in 2023 with a brand new and highly acclaimed masterpiece „BACKDRAFT“.
